Indianapolis Museum of Art Engagement Session | Mary and Zach

Mary and Zach got married at Laurel Court in Cincinnati, Ohio but when they hired Christa Hitchcock as there wedding photographer they took the opportunity to do something different. Christa is an Indianapolis based photographer and instead of her traveling to Cincinnati for their engagement session, Mary and Zach traveled to her. They spent a few hours walking around the gardens of the beautiful Newfields, Indianapolis Museum of Art, where you find a picturesque blend of nature and art.

I love this idea because it gives you a new place to explore for your engagement pictures. Being in the photographers area allowed her to scope out great places in advance. If you are traveling for your wedding or have an out of town photographer consider inviting them to meet you on an upcoming trip, or bring them to where you live now. I work with a lot of our of state clients and this would be great for them to both get a great local photographer yet still have engagement pictures of where they live now.
