Amber and Brent met at a philanthropy event through their sorority and fraternity. They were paired as dance partners for the charity event and talked for 6 months before Brent took the leap and asked Amber to be his girlfriend.
Amber absolutely loves dogs and the couple had just gotten a puppy together (named Boba!) and Brent knew he wanted the pup involved in their proposal. As pasta lovers, they are often trying new restaurants together, so when they went to Nicola’s in OTR, Amber thought it was just another date night. Thinking after dinner they were headed to Graeter’s for some ice cream, Amber thought nothing of Brent parking underneath Washington Park. Awaiting them was Amber’s family and the dogs with matching signs that read “Amber, will you marry me?” and “She said yes!”
Amber and Brent both work in the medical field and are passionate about teaching each other things. Though they come from such different backgrounds, they truly balance each other out and have loved learning each other’s new traditions and cultures which they look forward passing on to their kids in the future.
