Top Trends from Spring 2025 New York Bridal Fashion Week

Last week our owner Samantha attended Spring 2025 New York Bridal Fashion Week and had an up close look at what is inspiring designers and how bridal fashion is evolving. From gowns with classic silhouettes to modern twists, we aim to provide you with inspiration and insights to help you find the perfect look for your special day.

Pearls

Pearls are bringing a sophisticated detail and a bit of sheen to bridal dresses. We've seen what beading and sequins can do to add some shine but the both subtle and impactful clustering of pearls adds a touch of sophistication to any look.

Drop Waist and Corset SILHOUETTES

This season brought a noticeable silhouette to the forefront using the drop waist or a more dramatic basque waist. We saw a lot of use of the corset detail with sheer lace layering and with satin creating clean crisp lines.

Conversions

Designers are going above and beyond with the way their dressed can convert throughout the day. We saw removable sleeves, overskirts, pantsuits underneath, convertible minis, caplets, the possibilities have expanded to meet ever wedding day needs. Galia Lahav and Ese Azenbor did this throughout their designs.

Sheer SKirting

Dresses are getting lighter and lighter. This year at New York Bridal Fashion Week Spring 2025 we saw even more sheer details, with lightweight layering of lace and horsehair in the skirting. More nude lining to give a sheer look.

Bows

Small bows, big bows and bows with new shapes. I love the small feminine detail that a bow brings to these bridal designs. Two of my favorites are the kimono inspired bow from Japanese designer Ituwa. Paired with the gingko skirt it's feminine and sculptural. The jumpsuit by LEIN is both clean and sexy. The small bows run down the length and wrap around the body. Markarian also use bows throughout their designs as fun little accents.
