Mallory and Mickey | Pinecroft Mansion | Cincinnati Wedding Planner

When I first met Mallory I knew we would get along great. Quickly we had both identified that Mallory needed a bit more help planning her wedding then she had originally thought. He father had passed away a few short months before I met her and left her to handle everything. I couldn’t imagine what she was going through but knew that Mallory deserved to be well taken care of.

Mallory and Mickey met in high school many year priors and had stayed close friends and dated since. In July of 2016, Mickey brought Mallory to Ault Park just like any other day but Mallory was stunned when he proposed and had a photographer there to capture it all. As they began wedding planning she quickly fell in love with the Pinecroft Mansion at Crosley Estate for her wedding venue. They wanted to get married out in the Orchard under a handmade arch that Mickey decided to make himself. That arch now sits in their backyard as a way to remember where it all began for them.

During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed the outdoor bar in the back courtyard of the Pinecroft Mansion. They lounged in a soft seating arrangement and explored the historic inside of the Pinecroft Mansion. When it was time for dinner, guests found their name on the custom-built escort wall that we created for Mallory.

They had wanted their wedding to have the rich elegance from the estate blended with the soft natural feel of the tent and outdoors. We used a mix of soft blue, gray, and ivory to create a reception design for them. We opted to mix wood farm tables and round tables for a more modern floor plan. On the farm tables, we selected champagne pin-tuck runners topped with hand-laid silver-dollar eucalyptus and lanterns that Mallory had collected. The light runner brightened up the wood tables and kept the tent feeling more natural. The round tables had a soft powdery blue floor-length linen and low footed compote centerpieces in silver mercury glass. Guests sat on natural wood x-back chairs and had individual vellum menus at their place setting.

Mallory and Mickey are both sweets lovers and decided to have their cake and eat donuts too. Tres Belle Cakes made their scraped style cake with soft blue drizzle on top. They also made all of the donuts on the late-night donut bar that hung from the donut wall that Mickey made.

Throughout the process, Mallory was one of the sweetest people and we laughed a lot. Mickey was always game to create whatever Mallory dreamed up. Her and Mickey deserved every bit of happiness.
