Inspired by the look and feel of the Low Country, Kristin and Cody’s wedding at Peterloon was refined yet relaxed. This sweet couple is a classic case of opposites who attract. When we first started chatting about their wedding day vision, Kristin said she wanted it to be elevated and elegant while Cody wanted something more relaxed and laid back.

So, just like these two perfectly balance each other out, we created a design that was the best of both their ideas. To start, we developed a color palette that was a mix of feminine and masculine. We paired warm creams, peach, and salmon with tan and slate. We also brought in elements of leather and cooper to create a refined yet relaxed look.

It is hard to pick a favorite part of any of our designs, but we adore the tablescape for this one. We will never stop talking about how linens with a subtle pattern can totally elevate a look. Coupled with a leather charger and copper silverware, this was such a stunning combination. The votives and flowers added a lightness that kept the more masculine elements in balance. Opposites that work together, the perfect representation of Kristin and Cody!

We always adore working at Peterloon, but Cody and Kristin had an extra special connection to their venue. It was the childhood home of Cody’s step-grandmother. So he had tons of memories of visiting the estate as a child. I love that they picked a venue that has some meaning to them. It makes the day even more special.
