The Meshewa House
The Meshewa House at Turner Farm is a historic estate located on 230 acres of bountiful, organic farmland and peaceful, rolling pastures. Located in the beautiful Indian Hill community of Cincinnati, Meshewa House beautifully captures the idyllic, historic nature of the estate, while maintaining modern amenities that enhance any hosted events. The Meshewa House is best fit for groups of 125 to 175.
The Manor house was built in the 1930s as one of the original mansions in the emerging equestrian community. The manor experienced a fire in 2014, and then underwent a full renovation that updated its amenities, it now includes a beautiful bridal suite for getting ready the day of, but still preserved its historic charm. The Meshewa House also boasts a grand stairwell with sweeping steps in the main entrance, stained cherry wall paneling and moldings, a charming library, and warm solarium, the inside venue space is a unique and memorable space in itself. The true beauty of the estate lies in the great outdoors. Elegant, tree-lined drives provide lovely photography waypoints, and the drive up to the manor is lined with picturesque fields of horses and farm animals that allow the Meshewa House to operate in additional capacity as a lovely farm. The expansive lawns are perfect for outdoor ceremonies. There is a great space behind the manor for erecting a sailcloth or structured tent to enhance an outdoor reception. Overall, the Meshewa House is a perfectly elegant venue to hold the most dreamy wedding or event.
Greenacres Art Center
The Greenacres Art Center can be found in the heart of Cincinnati’s stunning Indian Hill neighborhood. With nearly 600 acres of scenic beauty, this venue is alive with possibilities for weddings and formal events. Promising exclusivity and creativity, Greenacres affords clients a level of event customization rarely found in standard event locales. The Art Center is the modern day continuation of the historic Fleischmann Estate; originally established as a luxurious country escape for the resting and sporting ventures of the Fleischmann family, the estate consisted of a country mansion, stables, a greenhouse, gardens, and hunting grounds. It underwent a full renovation and was restored to preserve the original buildings and architecture by the Greenacres foundation, which now serves as an art museum with unique community programs throughout the year. Laurel Court
Laurel Court is the definition of an opulent, historic venue reminiscent of the “Gilded Age”. The estate was built in 1907 for paper magnate Peter G. Thomson with architecture reminiscent of the Versailles’ Petite Trianon. Complete with a winged grand staircase, an airy glass dome, and picturesque gardens, Laurel Court provides second-to-none options for outdoor, indoor, or mixed venue locations. Peterloon Estate
Peterloon Estate is reminiscent of a charming, English country estate surrounded by gardens, farmlands, and pieces of forest. Also found in Cincinnati’s Indian Hill region, Peterloon Estate was built by Jack Emery in the 1930 to become part of the English country life-like society that was being established by Cincinnati’s wealthiest families at the time.
The manor, a four-story Georgian Queen Anne style build with 36 rooms, 21 bathrooms, and 19 fireplaces, was interior designed to feature European touches throughout the rooms and finished with an Art Deco-inspired staircase. The back lawn of the estate features an expansive view of the property, a large, hardscape terrace, and a lovely pool that doubles as a fountain. Able to accommodate tents to further enlarge an outdoor celebration, Peterloon is an excellent choice for outdoor or mixed space events. This venue is best for groups of 125-175 if using a tent, and groups of fewer than 75 if only utilizing the manor house.
