Cozy Textured Fall Inspired Wedding
This inspirational shoot will make you feel all kinds of warm. With the weather we’ve been having that exactly what we all need. So grab your cup of coffee of for me a rich cup of hot chocolate and enjoy. I was inspired by thick cozy, knit blankets that get pulled out every fall and the feeling of warmth you get after connecting with an old friend. I wanted the design to center around super rich fall colors, unique details, and layers of earthy textures. Fall weddings and dinner parties offer up a chance to use so many great colors. From small subtle touches of mustard or eggplant the rich bold choices, there are lots of chances to use color. Pulling from wood tones, stoneware and natural linen we selected each detail to be casual and unexpectedly elegant. Each place setting was a set with a stoneware plate a top a woven charger accompanied by bronze silverware. Each mustard napkin held a small box of Woodford Reserve bourbon balls wrapped in brown paper and sealed with a dried flower pressed into a wax seal. To elevate the table we brought in crystal wine and water goblets to finish the servicesware.
We worked with Floral V Design for the tablescape and set the length of the table with a rich purple velvet runner. They created a few floral arrangements with mustard, rust, purple and some blush and cream blooms. Each guest could find their seat with the handmade paper place card that was tucked into a small floral frog.
